Politics Army: Another air alert in northern Israel

Another air alert has been triggered in several communities in northern Israel. The sirens sounded on Wednesday in the towns of Kfar Giladi and Misgaw Am, according to the army. They are located directly on the de facto border with Lebanon.

The night before, a region further south, which includes the city of Safed, had been attacked with around 50 rockets from Lebanon, the army added.

Some of the missiles had been intercepted, others had hit open ground. The Shiite militia Hezbollah, which has been firing at Israel almost daily since the beginning of the Gaza war, announced that it had fired rockets at Safed and three other nearby towns. There was no information about casualties or major damage.
