In his ruling on Monday, the judge acknowledged that the dangerous actions were not Bajra's idea. However, he had also done nothing to defuse them. "Go along to get along", the judge found.
He had probably not wanted to be the "shitty bunny" and had been under pressure from third parties, but had also accelerated and changed lanes while holding the steering wheel with one hand and filming with his cell phone with the other, said the judge.
Driving license is probably gone
Thus, it remains a qualified gross violation of traffic regulations and a speeding offense. As the penalties were imposed conditionally, Bajra will be spared having to pay the fine and spend time in prison.
The Road Traffic Office is likely to revoke the 28-year-old's driving license for at least two years if the ruling stands. The ruling can still be appealed to the Federal Supreme Court.
Ex-comedian Bajra attracted attention in 2016 with two dangerous actions on the highway. He had filmed the acts and posted them on social media with some success.
