Help, it's very Christmassy! For the sixth time, a German family has broken a record with their Christmas decorations: One plastic tree after another - even in the bathroom.
No time? blue News summarizes for you
- The Jeromin family from Rinteln in Germany has set a new world record.
- In their house there are 605 decorated plastic Christmas trees on 180 square meters of living space.
- 120,000 Christmas baubles, 50,000 lights and thousands of Christmas figures complete the decorations.
Are you a fan of Christmas decorations? Then you should visit the Jeromin family in Germany. You can hardly see their living room for all the trees.
From 2017 to 2021 and in 2023, they held the record for the most decorated Christmas trees in one place. However, last year's 555 trees were not enough for them: a whopping 605 plastic fir trees are in their home this year. They started decorating them back in June. Each tree has a different theme: everything from "Star Wars" to "The Simpsons" can be found.
Thomas Jeromin (58) is thrilled: "It's just awesome, it's totally great." His wife Susanne (57) shares his passion for Christmas decorations: "It's nice when it lights up and terrible when it goes out again." There are even several little trees in the bathroom, twinkling and glittering. Only the daughter's room is off limits.
