Companies Company formations fall slightly in November

Slightly fewer new companies were entered in the Swiss commercial register in November. A total of 4373 new registrations were recorded. This corresponds to a decrease of 2 percent compared to October, as reported by the company directory Help.ch on Monday.

In the months of September and October, company registrations were still on the rise after the slow summer months. This trend did not continue in November. Compared to November 2023, the number of newly founded companies remained more or less stable.

In contrast, the number of deleted companies fell again: 2589 company deletions were registered in November 2024. This was 4% fewer than in the previous month and also 4% fewer than in November 2023.
