Cédric Zesiger is moving from VfL Wolfsburg to Bundesliga rivals FC Augsburg on loan until the end of the season.
As the two clubs announced, the 13th-placed club in the Bundesliga has also secured a purchase option for the 26-year-old defender. It is unclear what the transfer fee would be in the event of a permanent signing.
Zesiger moved from Young Boys to Wolfsburg in the summer of 2023, where he played 23 games in his first season. This season, the four-time international lost his regular place. He did not appear in any of the last six games.
