The World Cup in Veysonnaz next weekend comes too soon for Talina Gantenbein. After her fall on the Reiteralm, the skier from Graubünden has had to withdraw from the race in Valais.
The 26-year-old is still recovering from the consequences of a slight concussion she suffered in mid-January. "I still don't feel sufficiently recovered to start," the athlete is quoted as saying in a statement from Swiss-Ski.
The runner-up from San Candido will decide at short notice whether she will be able to compete in the World Cup races in Val di Fassa. The races will be held in Trentino, Italy, from February 6 to 9.
