The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation has hired Antti Törmänen as a mentor for coaches at the U17-Elit and U20-Elit talent levels with immediate effect.
The 54-year-old's work is intended to strengthen the central role of the coaches and promote their individual development. The Finn performs his role as a sparring partner with a 25% workload.
Due to his cancer, Törmänen had to step down as head coach of EHC Biel in May last year.
