Xherdan Shaqiri secured FC Basel a point in Lugano with a penalty converted in the 87th minute. Prior to that, the Ticino side had managed to turn things around in the thrilling top-of-the-table match after falling behind. After Kevin Carlos made it 0:1, Anto Grgic (45') and Albian Hajdari (53') scored for Lugano.

Lausanne-Sport and Luzern drew 0-0 in the chasing duel, keeping things tight at the top. The top six are separated by just two points. This group also includes Servette, who drew 1-1 at home to St. Gallen on Saturday, and FC Zurich. The latter ended its drought against Yverdon after six games without a win. The 18-year-old Cheveyo Tsawa scored in the final minutes to secure a 1-0 home win.

Yverdon FC, without a win in eight games, are now just three points adrift of bottom-placed Winterthur after the Zurich side picked up a surprise point in a goalless draw at Young Boys on Saturday. Grasshoppers even overtook Yverdon in the table. They won 1-0 in Sion despite being short-handed for a long time.
