The Swiss line-up for the men's road race at the World Championships in Zurich has undergone a change. Fabian Lienhard replaces Yannis Voisard, who is ill.

The 26-year-old Jura native Voisard, a tour specialist from the Swiss Team Tudor, has been forced to withdraw due to Covid-19. Fabian Lienhard, who is five years older than Voisard, will therefore make his sixth World Championship appearance in the elite category on Sunday.

Two changes have been made to the team for the mixed relay. Instead of Silvan Dillier and Elena Hartmann, Fabian Weiss and Jasmin Liechti will take part. Together with Weiss, Stefan Bissegger and Johan Jacobs will form the men's trio. Alongside Liechti, Elise Chabbey and Noemi Rüegg will start on the women's side.
