FC Barcelona have slipped up in the championship for the third time in a row.
After the defeat at Real Sociedad and the draw at Celta Vigo, coach Hansi Flick's team lost 2-1 at home to Las Palmas.
Sandro Ramirez and Fabio Silva scored in the second half for the Canaries, who were 17th in the table at the leaders. In between, Raphinha equalized for the Catalans with his 14th goal of the season.
Real Madrid, who have played two games less, could close the gap on Barça to one point with a home win against Getafe on Sunday.
