Georgia's Georges Mikautadze has been rewarded for his strong performances at the European Championships with a lucrative transfer.
The 23-year-old striker, co-top scorer at the European Championships with three goals, is moving to Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon after a season on loan at French second division club Metz.
Mikautadze, who was born and raised in Lyon, was loaned to Metz from Ajax Amsterdam last season. The transfer fee for the transfer to the French top club amounts to 18.5 million euros plus possible bonuses.
