There is a second stadium climber in Dortmund and TV ratings in Austria that are almost as high as those for Natascha Kampusch's first interview. The European Championship splinters from Wednesday.

TV ratings almost like in Corona times

Austria's defeat against Turkey was one of the most-watched TV broadcasts in our eastern neighboring country since ratings began to be measured. 2.44 million viewers watched the second half. In recent years, only "Zeit im Bild" on March 15, 2020, when lockdown restrictions were imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, recorded even higher ratings with 2.72 million viewers. In addition, a "Peter Alexander Show" from 1991, the first interview with Natascha Kampusch (2006) and the film "Crocodile Dundee" achieved even better ratings than Austria's European Championship round of 16. ServusTV, which had the exclusive rights for this match, achieved its best ratings since the station was founded. While nine sporting events are among the top 10 in Switzerland, in Austria the "Villacher Fasching" from 1992 and a Rudi Carrell show from 1991 are also among the ten most-watched programs of all time.

Already two roof climbers

A roof climber provided a sideshow at the European Championship round of 16 final between Germany and Denmark in Dortmund. It has now been revealed that four days earlier, during the match between France and Poland in Dortmund, a person climbed onto the roof of the stadium. A Polish fan watched the match on the "catwalk", which is intended for technicians. It is not yet known how the man scaled the roof structure.
