Briton Oliver Rowland wins the Formula E Grand Prix in Mexico. Nico Müller finishes the second round of the world championship as the best Swiss driver in 9th place.
Oliver Rowland, who has returned to Nissan, celebrated a surprising victory - and can now even dream of the world championship title. Because in the last two seasons, the winner of Mexico later also became world champion.
Nico Müller was the only Swiss driver to finish in the points. Müller started from the ninth row (18th), but drove a spirited race and even moved up to fourth place at one point. However, he lost positions again in the final phase of the race.
Sébastien Buemi (13th) and Edoardo Mortara (17th) dropped back a long way early on and did not make it back into the top 10.
Portuguese driver Antonio Felix Da Costa, who finished second in his Porsche in each of the first two races, leads the championship standings.
