Jasmin Wagner, known as 'Blümchen', surprised herself when she became a mother. For a long time, she was convinced that she wanted to remain childless. But meeting her husband, a Danish entrepreneur, fundamentally changed her perspective. They married in September 2023, and Wagner describes becoming parents together as the best journey of her life. "For a long time, I was on the side of those who didn't want children. But the truth is that children make everything more beautiful and special," she explains in an interview with 'Bunte'. The time with her child and her husband is the most valuable for her.
Late motherhood as an advantage
Jasmin Wagner sees no disadvantage in becoming a mother later in life. The negative comments she has received about it leave her cold. Instead, she appreciates the advantages of being a mother in her early 40s. "I'm not in competition with the time I spent with my child. I don't miss anything when I'm with my child. I can devote myself fully," she says. Even after two years, she is still amazed at the changes that motherhood brings. "It really is madness. When you have a little baby, the world stands still for a moment and then it goes into overdrive," she says in an interview with RTL. She is amazed at how quickly time has passed since her daughter was born.
