Wedding Pin-up icon Zoe Scarlett has married

Basel pin-up icon Zoe Scarlett got married in the USA on August 24, as she has now revealed on Facebook. The man at her side is vintage car restorer Thomas Schilter.

Only very few people were aware of the wedding, as the Blick newspaper reported. Scarlett told the newspaper that it had been love at first sight when Thomas opened the door for her at a US classic car dealership in Steinen SZ. "I looked at him and thought: What a man! At that moment, the sparks kind of flew," the Basel woman is quoted as saying.

They had already met three years ago. However, they had not known that they ran in similar circles and that he was often a guest at car meets and festivals that she organized. The two moved in together after just a few months. "I left Basel and found happiness with my best friend, life partner and now my husband in central Switzerland," she continued.

Zoe Scarlett, who was the only European to be one of the top 10 pin-ups, became famous primarily through her time as a burlesque dancer. However, the 39-year-old has since hung up her feather boa.
