Patricia Blanco is enjoying a break in Zanzibar with her new partner, although she wanted to keep their relationship a secret. A missed flight in Dubai ruined her plans.

Patricia Blanco has plunged into a new relationship and is currently enjoying the sun of Zanzibar with her new partner. The 53-year-old TV personality didn't actually want to make her new love public just yet, but an unexpected event at Dubai airport changed everything.

An unexpected stopover

"We wanted to take our time before showing ourselves in public together, as we are just getting to know each other," she told Bild. But when the couple missed their connecting flight in Dubai, their companion was briefly visible in an Instagram story. "We only just missed our flight. We ran right through the airport, but the gate was already closed," Patricia reported on the bumpy start to her vacation. Nevertheless, she is relaxed about the forced break in Dubai: "There are worse places to kill time," says the daughter of pop star Roberto Blanco.

Love vacations to get to know each other

"Now we're just spontaneously spending a day in Dubai. You can experience a lot here!" says Patricia Blanco, who is already recovering: "Two weeks' vacation in Zanzibar to get to know each other - I really can't complain." While other couples might go to the movies or cook together, Patricia has opted for a trip halfway around the world. The two lovers have now arrived at their destination, as on Monday afternoon (November 4) Patricia shared the first pictures from the sunny beach, where she is enjoying a drink from a large pineapple. It seems she can now finally put her last relationship with Andreas Ellermann behind her.
