"We don't share this Christmas love" Lena Gercke loves Christmas, her husband less so

While Lena Gercke enjoys the Christmas season, her husband Dustin Schöne shows little enthusiasm for the festivities. Nevertheless, he has to adapt.

Lena Gercke can hardly imagine anything better than the Christmas season. But her husband Dustin Schöne does not share this enthusiasm. In an interview with RTL, the model revealed that her husband is a real Christmas grouch.

Husband has to adapt

Although Lena Gercke is already in a festive mood, Dustin Schöne doesn't share her enthusiasm. "We don't share this Christmas love," she explains, "but he has to go along with it. He can't avoid it - because I'm the biggest Christmas fan of all and I infect everyone here at home with it. He's used to it now, he just has to join in." At an event organized by Lena, the "LeGer Christmas Casino", he nevertheless appeared smiling on the red carpet.

Traditions are cultivated

Lena Gercke sticks to festive traditions. This includes watching Christmas movies. "He's not really into it," she says of her husband. "But it's a tradition, we always watch "Schöne Bescherung" and he has to sit through it." Despite his reluctance, Lena can rely on Dustin's support. "We actually divide everything up," she says. "We both have very flexible working hours. There are times when there's a lot on at once, then it's a bit more relaxed again. We just try to coordinate everything really well." So it's no problem that she has a Grinch at home.
