Abrupt end to the farm week: In the latest episode of "Bauer sucht Frau", 70-year-old Heiner is unexpectedly turned down - after just two days together with farm lady Ulrike.

According to Ulrike, the problem is that the horse whisperer, who has been single for many years, no longer knows his way around women.

The dream of stealing horses together is over: Riding instructor Heiner from the Upper Palatinate hoped to find new love on "Bauer sucht Frau" (RTL) even at the age of 70.

But his search for a new partner began with difficulties: Before the barn party, the farmer collapsed from excitement, had to be taken away by an emergency doctor and spent a few hours in hospital for observation.

Heiner had to be treated for excitement

TV presenter Inka Bause said at the time: "Heiner is one of our older farmers in this season. Of course I was worried. I'm sure he was already incredibly excited on the days before the barn festival. His pulse gets faster and faster, and some farmers arrive here already slightly exhausted."

But then the all-clear: Heiner was able to meet three candidates after all. His choice fell on 63-year-old nursery school teacher and show jumper Ulrike. "She's the one," the farmer cheered euphorically at the time.

No getting closer despite doing yoga together

The riding instructor proudly showed her his farm, which includes 20 horses, a large indoor riding arena, a small chapel and 24 hectares of grassland and farmland as well as 7 hectares of forest.

He does his yoga exercises every morning on a meadow in front of the house. "Yoga is very important to me because it allows you to maintain the flexibility you need for riding," says the farmer.

But the 70-year-old quickly works up a sweat: "Heiner said he was as fit as a fiddle, but I think he was exaggerating a bit," teases the sporty Ulrike.

The farmer then proudly demonstrates to his lady-in-waiting that he even does yoga exercises with his horses and lunges with other horses. As an experienced show jumper, Ulrike would like to give Heiner a hand, but Heiner immediately blocks it: "The young horse wants his own master, he's fixated on me." The 63-year-old is frustrated: "He didn't involve me at all and that disappointed me a little."

"You're a horse whisperer, but you're not a woman whisperer"

After the farmer has lit two candles in his chapel ("One for my special guest"), Ulrike unexpectedly asks him to have a chat. "I want to talk to Heiner because I realize that I don't have any feelings, but he does," explains the teacher.

Then she talks straight to the farmer: "You really are a great man, but it's just not right with me. Sometimes I missed a bit of feeling with you. You're a horse whisperer, but you're not a woman whisperer," the lady of the farm makes it clear to Heiner that she sees no future with him.

Heiner seems caught cold: "What have I done wrong?" he wants to know from Ulrike.

The lady-in-waiting says that he hasn't done anything "wrong", but that after 22 years of being single with women, he may be "perhaps a little inexperienced".

Heiner admits: "Dealing with a woman is probably much more difficult for me than dealing with a horse, because I've been with horses all my life." After the initial shock, however, the 70-year-old quickly regains his composure: "The right woman will definitely come along. I'm convinced of that!"
