Show us how you live - and we'll tell you who you are: blue News editor Bruno Bötschi embarked on an experiment. He invited the two spatial psychologists Ladina Blumenthal and Katharina Vogl to his home.
No time? blue News summarizes for you
- Our home is the place where - ideally - we feel particularly comfortable.
- That's why the way we design our home also says a lot about us as people. That's the opinion of Ladina Blumenthal and Katharina Vogl.
- blue News editor Bruno Bötschi wanted to find out more about the work of the two interior psychologists. He therefore invited them to his home.
I'm the kind of person who likes to experiment. No ifs, no buts.
I tried my hand at self-catering in the summer of 2023. I bathed in ice - and wanted to learn to surf at the age of 54.
My latest experiment required less courage, but it was no less exciting: I invited the two spatial psychologists Ladina Blumenthal and Katharina Vogl to my home.
What stories do my rooms tell?
Beforehand, I sent the two women the floor plan of my apartment and gave them my home address. That was all the duo knew about me before visiting my home.
I was all the more excited to see what would await me during Blumenthal and Vogl's visit.
What stories do my rooms tell? What do Ladina Blumenthal and Katharina Vogl think of my interior design style? And will they end up giving me specific suggestions on how I could furnish my apartment differently?
"Show us your home and we'll tell you who you are"
"You show us your apartment and we'll tell you who you are," says Ladina Blumental by way of welcome - and then the viewing begins.
In the video, you can follow Ladina Blumenthal and Katharina Vogl on their tour of my apartment.
"Bruno, you must be king within your own four walls," says Ladina Blumenthal at the end of the tour.
I don't want to reveal any more in advance, so just this: After the visit, I decided to rearrange the furniture in my bedroom.
