When Kevin Costner heard that Prince William wanted to meet him, he didn't hesitate. The meeting took place several years ago.
"I was in England and got the message that the Prince wanted to meet me," the actor told the US magazine People.
They then met in a room where they were all alone. "He ran up to me, shook my hand and the first thing he said was: 'You know, my mother had a bit of a crush on you'."
The 69-year-old doesn't want to reveal what else was discussed, but says the experience was "very nice". He called William "a strapping young man" and left the meeting with many precious memories.

Years earlier, Costner had also met Princess Diana herself. This meeting was about a possible collaboration for a sequel to "The Bodyguard".
