Jolina Mennen is setting herself new goals to change her life and regain her zest for life.

Jolina Mennen (32) is currently reflecting intensively on her life. A few weeks ago, the YouTube star caused a stir with a confession about her alcohol consumption. In her latest post, she shares her thoughts on how she wants to make her life easier and more positive.

"I want to get my zest for life back"

"I want to get my laughter back," the Bremen native told her 280,000 followers. "I want to get my radiance back. I want to get my joie de vivre back. And I'm well on my way to doing so." The last few years have been challenging, especially after the separation from her husband Florian in spring 2023, which plunged her into a deep crisis. Three weeks ago, she revealed that she tried to numb her grief with alcohol. "To distract myself, to stop thinking about what was actually broken." Although she didn't drink every day, the intensity of her consumption worried her. The former jungle camp participant has now been abstinent for two months and thanked everyone who supported her on her journey in her new video.

New goals and a move

With a clear head and without alcohol, Jolina Mennen has now set concrete milestones for her future. To increase her "pride level", she plans to complete her second bachelor's degree, which she has been putting off for five years. So far, she has paid almost 4,000 euros in tuition fees without earning her degree, but now the time has finally come. She has also set herself a sporting goal: a half marathon. She is also planning to move house. The house where she spent her youth and has been living again since 2019 has become too big for her. She is looking for a new environment that is not linked to old memories of family or her previous relationship. "I really need something new for my new start. Something where I can build my life," says Jolina Mennen, explaining her decision to move.
