No time? blue News summarizes for you
- After Nemo won the 68th Eurovision Song Contest with the song "The Code", the new ESC superstar celebrated with friends and family in his hotel.
- The day after, after only three hours of sleep, Nemo gave his first interview to "Blick" and surprised everyone with a funny statement.
- "I thought I'd hang up my music career now and start a bakery," says Nemo.
"A first step was waking up today after about two to three hours of sleep and realizing that it wasn't a dream at all," Nemo describes the first night after winning the ESC in "Blick".
After arriving at the hotel, Nemo celebrates in his room with family, artists and people from other delegations.
"At some point, the sun came up. And then we went to the sea."
Nemo: "I just make music"
Nemo has been living in the German capital Berlin for some time now, so the pop star is all the more looking forward to returning to his hometown of Biel.
"Hopefully I can relax there, lie in the garden and just do nothing. I need to give my body a bit of a rest, it was a very intense time in Malmö."
Nemo won't be able to relax for long, however. After winning the ESC, one performance follows the next. But Nemo doesn't want to let this marathon drive him crazy.
"Well, I thought I'd hang up my music career now and start a bakery," says Nemo in Blick, before adding with a laugh: "No, of course I'll carry on now."
Nemo says it is difficult to categorize what this ESC victory means. His plan is clear: "I just make music. That's what I'm good at. And I'm looking forward to performing live with the band again."
