Freddy Burger began his career as a concert promoter. He then became known primarily as a manager. First for Pepe Lienhard, then above all for Udo Jürgens, whom he managed from 1977.

It was only in October that 500 invited guests celebrated the 78-year-old at Theater 11 in Zurich. Guests at the launch of his autobiography included Federal Councillor Albert Rösti, former Federal Councillor Adolf Ogi, Paola Felix and comedians Michael Elsener and Marco Rima.

The company FBM Entertainment employs 250 people. The company is responsible for Theater 11, the Thunerseespiele and the Musical Theater Basel, among others.
