Pietro Lombardi, known for his music and his role as a family man, has three sons who demand a lot from him. Nine-year-old Alessio is from his previous marriage to Sarah Engels, while one-year-old Leano and Amelio, who was born in August, are his children with fiancée Laura Maria Rypa.
Pietro recently shared an insight into his everyday life as a father on Instagram. In a video, he showed himself on a walk with his youngest sons. Leano sat in a baby carriage, while Amelio rested in a baby carrier in front of his chest. "Daddy's day today," he commented on the clip, adding that he had only spent three hours alone with the two of them. "I swear, respect to all moms," he confessed.
Challenges of being a father
Pietro Lombardi openly admits that looking after his children is a challenge. "Well, I'm exhausted! But... We'll manage," he said. He told his fiancée: "Two small children is tough." Despite the effort, he may be taking more daddy days in the future.
Future plans and music
There could soon be more time for his family, as RTL is planning the next season of 'Deutschland sucht den Superstar' without him. Pietro has also announced that his upcoming tour will be his last for a few years. "That's why I'd be delighted if you were all really there to celebrate it again," he said recently. Nevertheless, fans need not worry that he will disappear from the scene completely. "I will of course continue to perform individual concerts and make music as normal," Pietro Lombardi assured them.
