Music Dozens of "Swifties" besiege Hotel Savoy in Zurich

Dozens of "Swifties" laid siege to the Hotel Savoy on Zurich's Paradeplatz on Monday afternoon. Taylor Swift is supposed to be staying at the hotel. The police had to intervene.

Privacy screens and a blocked entrance indicated that there were special guests at the luxury hotel. More and more fans stood in front of the entrance, blocking the Poststrasse as it passed by.

The Zurich city police finally arrived and set up barriers. However, it has not been confirmed whether the US singer and her entourage are actually staying at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy.

For the time being, the fans continued to wait in the sun for their idol. Swift performs on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Letzigrund, both of which are sold out.
