Criticism of the Western mentality
In Dubai, where many wealthy Westerners live, they experience a different mentality. Bushido admires the conscientiousness and positive attitude of the people there. Anna-Maria has already noticed the differences to the German mentality. She finds Germany to be rude and unfriendly, which she particularly notices during her monthly visits to her old homeland. Despite pleasant encounters, there are also negative experiences with unfriendly staff, which they do not experience in Dubai.
Anna-Maria and Bushido feel comfortable in their new home and appreciate the positive aspects they experience there. They see the Western affluent society as a cause for the negative behavior they perceive in Germany.
