A-ha is back on stage.
Tonight, the Norwegian pop trio, consisting of Morten Harket, Pål Waaktaar-Savoy and Magne Furuholmen, will perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival in the legendary Auditorium Strawinsky.
Shortly before the concert, keyboardist Furuholmen spoke to blue Music about what has changed in the lives of the band members over the last 40 years, which is how long A-ha have been around. "We're at the doctor more often these days," he replies with a laugh.
"Even more music, even more art"
Furuholmen also reveals in the video interview why he believes that the successful A-ha single "Take On Me" from 1985 suddenly became popular again two years ago on Tiktok.
And what does Magne Furuholmen want to do in the future? "Even more music, even more art."
