Fan Shelby Lynn now claims that the singer sought a conversation with her.
Rammstein has been criticized for several weeks now. Several women have made serious accusations against the band's frontman. The allegations involve alcohol, drugs and sexual acts that are said to have taken place without consent. The presumption of innocence still applies to Till Lindemann.
The bone of contention was Rammstein fan Shelby Lynn, who was the first to talk about her experiences backstage. She now claims that the Rammstein singer tried to contact her to have a conversation.
In an Instagram story referenced by RTL.de, the Irish woman reposted an article in which Lindemann is quoted: "Always remember: Don't believe evil tongues. The truth will come to light anyway," it says.
Lindemann changes song lyrics in response?
Lynn responds in her post: "Oh yeah, is that why you desperately tried to get in touch with me to have a personal conversation?" Adding, "Why did you want to talk to my 'evil tongue'? Where is my restraining order? Where is my libel suit?"
Lindemann himself had spoken out about the serious accusations at the last Rammstein concert in Berlin on July 18 - this is when the "evil tongues" quote, which comes from the song "Lügen", came about.
In the recent past, the singer has rewritten various song lyrics that could be interpreted as a reaction to the accusations: for example, "Und die Vögel singen nicht mehr" became "Und die Sänger vögeln nicht mehr", "Alle haben Angst vorm schwarzen Mann" became "Alle haben Angst vor Lindemann".
