The rock legend was also once a guest on Gottschalk's ZDF show "Wetten, dass...?". The performance in 1996, when the world star danced a Viennese waltz after a bet with the presenter, is unforgettable.

"Rest in peace and power. The Queen, legend and icon!" Naomi Campbell commented under the official Instagram post on Tina's death. "There will never be another. I will cherish my time with you," the model continued.

Beyoncé also left a message for her "beloved queen" Tina Turner: "I love you endlessly," it says on her own website.

She continued: "I am so grateful for your inspiration and all the paths you have paved for me. You are strength and resilience. I am so sad to hear of the passing of my wonderful friend."
