He stands in the corner of his apartment and takes a deep breath. Sam Ryder gained worldwide fame during the first coronavirus lockdown with his cover songs by Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber and Sia. He owes his success to the social media platform TikTok.
"It's totally crazy," smiles the 33-year-old Brit proudly. With his twelve million followers - including the big musicians mentioned above - he has the most subscribers in England. He can't stop raving about it.
