It is still not clear who killed the then 25-year-old musician.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has now confirmed to the AFP news agency that a search warrant was executed on Monday in the neighboring town of Henderson. The operation was carried out as part of the ongoing investigation into Shakur's murder.
Police officer: "It's a cold case"
The newspaper "Las Vegas Review-Journal" reported that a house had been searched. "It's a cold case and hopefully one day we can change that," a police official told the newspaper.
