The latest of these, which has now been published by the US website "People", is quite something.
In it,Britney Spears states that she became pregnant at the age of 19 - by her ex-boyfriend and "Mickey Mouse Club" colleague Justin Timberlake (42).
For Spears, it was a "surprise, but not a tragedy", "People" quotes from the book. "I loved Justin so much. I always expected that one day we would start a family together. It was just going to happen much sooner than I expected."
But Timberlake's feelings were completely different, according to the singer: "Justin definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives yet, that we were far too young."

In the end, she agreed to have an abortion. At least from the wording she chose in the book - according to "People" - it is clear that she was not the driving force behind this decision: "If it had been left to me alone, I would never have done it. But Justin was so sure he didn't want to be a father."
She still can't let go of that moment over 20 years ago: "To this day, it's one of the most agonizing things I've ever experienced in my life," she says in "The Woman in Me".
Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were a couple from 1999 to 2002. Spears has two children with her second husband Kevin Federline (45), sons Sean Preston (18) and Jayden James (17). Timberlake married actress Jessica Biel (41) in 2012. They are now also parents to two sons, Silas and Phineas.
