Pop star Britney Spears' memoirs will be published on October 24, 2023.
In the biography, the pop star makes juicy revelations. For example, that she was pregnant by "Disney Club" colleague Justin Timberlake at 19 and had to have an abortion.
Now the 41-year-old has come forward with a challenge on Instagram ahead of the book release.
Whether intentional or unintentional, singer Britney Spears (41) continues to fuel interest in her forthcoming autobiography "The Woman in Me".
After suddenly deactivating her Instagram account last weekend, the star has now returned with an unusual challenge. Spears posted a heart-shaped cake with the following written on it in pink icing: "See you in hell."
Britney has a clear message
The pop star spared herself a more detailed explanation in the comments section, which had been deactivated for this post anyway. However, the basic message behind it seems to be clear just one day before the publication of her tell-all book: She is going to offend some people with her work and, at times, really scratch their reputations in the public eye.
It's also clear that Britney Spears' Instagram escape at the weekend was very short-lived. Her more than 42 million followers briefly encountered an error message when they tried to access the singer's account. By now, however, they should have gotten used to it to some extent, as the 41-year-old has often deactivated her profile for a short period of time.
Spears has been causing a sensation for a few days now with "The Woman in Me". Excerpts from the book published in advance have already provided a telling foretaste of what could be in store for former companions.
According to People, one passage in the book reveals that Spears became pregnant by her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake (42) when she was 19 years old. She then had an abortion and now suggests in her book that Timberlake was the driving force behind this decision: "Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were far too young. [...] If it had been left to me alone, I would never have done it. But Justin was so sure he didn't want to be a father."
