Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (41) impressively demonstrates that a divorce does not necessarily mean the end of a relationship. After separating from entertainer Oliver Pocher (46) in 2014, their relationship has developed into a friendly partnership.

"Everyone goes their own way"

The mother of five told Bild that living together is much easier without the pressure of a romantic relationship. "Everyone goes their own way. We support each other and are always there for each other, no matter what happens." The couple have three children together: a 14-year-old daughter and 13-year-old twin sons. Meyer-Wölden sees the potential for a career in the entertainment industry in her children: "I have the feeling that at least one or two of my children want to go on stage. But whatever career they choose, I will support them."

Challenges and gratitude

Seven years ago, Meyer-Wölden gave birth to twins again with a previous partner. "When the doctor told me about the second twin pregnancy, I was shocked and started to cry. It was a big health risk." The first pregnancy was already a high-risk pregnancy with significant complications. "Looking back, I'm grateful that the three of us got through it." Today, all the children live with her and Oliver Pocher, who acts as their landlord, in a villa in Cologne.

Joint projects

Meyer-Wölden and Pocher also get on well professionally. Together they run the podcast "Die Pochers - Frisch recycelt". "I really enjoy the weekly conversation," Meyer-Wölden told RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland. "I now see the podcast with Oli as a kind of therapy. As we have known each other for so long, the conversations are always fluent, authentic and at eye level," said the podcaster happily.
