- Joko Winterscheidt lost to Matthias Schweighöfer in the final competition of the current show "Wer stiehlt mir die Show".
- As if he had never done anything else: Matthias Schweighöfer slips into the moderation as a show thief in a glitter jacket.
- Matthias opens "Wer stiehlt mir die Show" with a grand entrance: together with Joko, they sing the hit "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper on the piano.
In this special quiz show, the aim is to beat a member of the rate panel, show creator Joko Winterscheidt, in his own quiz. If he/she succeeds, he/she becomes show host the following week and is allowed to reshape the show to his/her own taste. Matthias Schweighöfer did just that in the last edition.
Now he was allowed to host yesterday's show and shape the evening himself. The opening was a success - together with loser Joko Winterscheidt, they performed the global hit "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. But in a slightly different version.
"Tell me, my friend, why are you so super smart, talented and beautiful, just stealing my thunder? I adore you, I'm fascinated by your muscles and your intelligence compared to you, I stink," Joko begins towards Matthias.
A kiss between Winterscheidt and Schweighöfer
And he sings back: "Listen, my friend, don't be so hard on yourself, yes, I'm beautiful and smart and have an ideal physique."
The show opens with this serenade and a kiss. As usual, Schweighöfer brings in a wildcard winner as the new host. Her name is Judith and she is 19 years old. Also present are David Fitz, Hazel Brugger and Joko Winterscheidt.
