WHITNEY HOUSTON's daughter BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN is engaged to marry her boyfriend NICK GORDON.
The 20 year old grew close to Gordon, who was informally adopted by her mum when he was 12, after the death of the superstar in 2012, and now the young couple is set to wed.
Announcing the news in a post on her official Facebook.com page, she writes, "YES, we me nick (sic) are engaged."
And she took aim at critics of the romance, adding, "I'm tired of hearing people say 'eww your (sic) engaged to your brother or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this.' Let me clear up something, we aren't even real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you.
"A lot of yall are saying that yall are only saying this all out of love. Which is bull because if that was so, all you would want is for me to be happy (sic).
"People need to seriously stop judging my relationship. Pretty sure it's my own decision who I want to be with. Yes, my relationship may not be perfect. We will have rough patches, just like every other relationship. And we have had our rough patches. You may or may not agree with my relationship. You may or may not respect it. Judge me, go ahead. Your opinions are yours and mine are mine. It is my life and not yours. The decisions I make have nothing to do with you."
Gordon and Brown, whose father is singer Bobby Brown, has sparked engagement rumours in the past - she was photographed on two separate occasions wearing a diamond sparkler on her ring finger, but her representative denied the claims both times. (MC/FCB/KL)

Il fidanzato della figlia di Whitney Houston è scomparso il 1°gennaio: l’autopsia e l’esame tossicologico confermano le cause decesso.

L’ex fidanzato di Bobbi Kristina Brown, Nick Gordon, è morto per overdose di eroina.

L’autopsia e l’esame tossicologico hanno confermato le cause del decesso, avvenuto il 1°gennaio all’età di 30 anni.

Come riporta CNN.com, nell’organismo dell’uomo sono state trovate tracce di caffeina, morfina e naloxone, un potente oppiaceo.

Gordon era stato trasportato d’urgenza in un ospedale della Florida, dove si è spento dopo sette ore di agonia.

A confermare la morte è stato il fratello nel giorno di Capodanno.

Gordon pare non si sia mai ripreso dalla morte di Bobbi Kristina, la figlia di Whitney Houston, trovata riversa nella vasca da bagno della sua casa di Atlanta nel gennaio del 2015 e morta nel luglio successivo dopo sei mesi di coma irreversibile.

Nick fu accusato di omicidio colposo dal padre Bobby Brown: secondo il cantante, l’uomo avrebbe somministrato alla ragazza un micidiale cocktail di sostanze, che successivamente le avrebbero fatto perdere conoscenza all’interno della vasca da bagno.

Nick si è sempre dichiarato innocente, nonostante la richiesta di risarcimento danni da 36 milioni di dollari di Brown.
