HC Lugano will have to do without Mirco Müller for several weeks.
The 29-year-old defenseman with 188 NHL games of experience suffered a knee injury in the Ticino derby against Ambri-Piotta (3-1) on Friday night, which is being treated conservatively. Müller has received the most ice time with the Bianconeri in the current championship; in 20 games, he has recorded two goals and three assists.
