Fabian Recher brings Switzerland another medal at the end of the Para-Cycling competitions at the Road World Championships in Zurich. The hand cyclist from Bern wins bronze in the road race.

Recher fought a duel for third place with Poland's Rafal Wilk over several laps, with the 25-year-old from Spiez ultimately coming out on top after 57.8 km with a lead of eight seconds over the Eastern European. Tobias Lötscher and Felix Frohofer finished the H4 category race in 6th and 9th place respectively after Frenchman Joseph Fritsch won.

It was Recher's second podium finish at his home World Championships after winning silver in the time trial. The Swiss para-cycling delegation finished the championships with nine medals, four gold, three silver and two bronze.
