Noah Dettwiler finished the race in the Moto3 category of the Indonesian Grand Prix, which was characterized by many retirements, in 18th place after a crash.
The mishap happened on the fifth lap. The 19-year-old rider from Basel came down after the front wheel of his KTM slipped off.
Colombian David Alonso on a CFMoto took his ninth win of the current season and extended his lead as leader to 97 points ahead of the last five Grands Prix. A win is worth 25 points. Alonso can therefore become world champion as early as next Sunday in the Japanese Grand Prix.
