Ukrainian authorities have reported heavy damage to civilian buildings following new massive Russian air strikes against the industrial city of Zaporizhia in the south of the country. At least seven people were injured, the head of the regional administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced on Telegram. He also published pictures of destroyed houses. It was reported that there could still be people among the rubble. According to the report, there were more than ten air strikes. Several fires had broken out.

The head of the Ukrainian president's office, Andriy Yermak, lamented that another major city was now being terrorized by Russian bombings. More weapons are needed for Ukraine, he appealed to the allies in the West. In addition, the efforts of the entire world must be directed towards Russia's economic decline in order to take away the country's basis for war.

The Ukrainian air defense system also reported 22 Russian drone attacks, 15 of which were repelled. The country has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for more than two and a half years.
