After the Israeli military airstrike on a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, there is uncertainty about the state of health of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Lebanese security sources said: "Nobody can say exactly how Nasrallah is doing."

The Iranian news agency Tasnim in turn reported, citing "informed sources", that Nasrallah was in good health. However, only the militia itself could provide information about his actual condition, it said. The pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia itself did not initially comment when asked.

According to the Israeli military, the airstrike was aimed at the headquarters of the Shiite militia, which is said to have been hidden under residential buildings. According to unconfirmed media reports, Nasrallah himself was the target of the attack.
