Katja Krasavice, known as a rapper and businesswoman, has expressed her disappointment on social media about the willingness of leading politicians to donate at the ZDF "Ein Herz für Kinder" gala. She criticized the fact that some top politicians did not donate as generously as they could have. "I believe that people who have a lot of money should also donate a lot of money," she explained in a TikTok video. She was particularly disappointed by the donation from former Finance Minister Christian Lindner, who only contributed 2,000 euros.
Criticism of politician donations
Krasavice also found the donation from CDU leader Friedrich Merz, who donated 4000 euros in an attempt to campaign, inadequate. She emphasized that the slogan "Every cent counts" applies above all to people on low incomes who have to scrape together every cent. Krasavice herself plans to donate generously again next year and announced: "Next year, your mommy will sort it out again, don't worry."
Exemplary donations from celebrities
Katja Krasavice has already donated 150,000 euros in the past, showing that she is willing to be a role model. Other celebrities such as footballer Toni Kroos, who donated 100,000 euros, and influencer Twenty4Tim, who donated 20,000 euros, have also put politicians to shame with their generous donations. Politicians can still learn a thing or two from them when it comes to generosity.
