Madonna has thanked her fans for their wishes for her recovery after a stay in hospital. She is "on the road to recovery", the singer said on Instagram.

Madonna's world tour is now set to start in Europe

Madonna's "Celebration" tour, which was due to start on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, has been postponed.

The singer now explains how things will continue: "My current plan is to postpone the North American part of the tour and start in Europe in October."
